Volunteer

Barb's family has been impacted by cancer, so to raise money for cancer research, she bravely shaved her head at Relay for Life on Saturday, raising $2,000 towards cancer research.
Congratulations Barb and there are still Raiders beanies for sale for the cold nights or caps to keep the sun off!!!

CANTEEN 2010

The Raiders and Barb would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time in the canteen during the season. There are too many people to thank individually, so please accept this as our thank you. Raiders is renown for having the best canteen in the O&M and without our volunteers we could not have the wide variety and choice of food we have. Barb does a wonderful job every home game and would welcome anyone who can spare some time during the season.
THANK YOU!!!

SUPPORTERS GROUP 2010

As most supporters are aware our newly formed Supporters Club provided meals at the club on Thursday nights throughout the footy season. With the help of parents of the players and supporters we were able to cook and serve a nutritious 2 course meal. We averaged about 65-70 meals each week and on one occasion when the juniors visited we served 134 meals. Thank you to all who bought meals.

There are many people I want to thank for helping make the meals successful.
Alison Bergin and John Wink came early every Thursday and helped cut up vegies and prepared and cooked the meat.

We were able to work cooperatively with Jayne Guy, the dietician who was working with the players and helped to plan our menus and we say a big thank you to her.

Jayne Bryant and Louie Kowski prepared our roster which made the weeks run like clockwork.

Our volunteers who helped set up, serve meals, wash dishes and clean up - a big thank you to Anne Visser, Barb Leitch, Deb Politis, Deb Nichol, Di Sims, Eileen Corcoran, Helen Williams, Jayne Bryant, Jo McMullen, Jodie Barron, Kerri-Ann Hudson, Lesley Knight, Linda Butler, Louie Kowski, Maria Gorupic, Monica Doolan, Pam Barron, Pam Dawson, Sue Lefoe and Vicki Price.

A big thank you to our local sponsors - Beazley's Meats, Red Rooster, Henri's and Arnolds for supplying us with quality foods to cook with.

Once again thank you to the volunteers who helped make the season a success. We plan to carry on next year and hope you will be involved. We would also welcome any new volunteers. There certainly was a buzz around the club on Thursday nights.

GO RAIDERS!!!!!!

Thank you,
Merilyn Oates for the Supporters Club
